Thrissur's Puram festival in Kerala is an extravagant spectacle. Witness caparisoned elephants, thunderous drum orchestras, spectacular fireworks, and masked dance dramas. Two competing groups representing Tiruvambadi and Paramekkavu temples parade fifteen beautifully adorned elephants, with priests carrying symbolic items.
